Lance's Left
Surf Guide
The passed-over little sister to Lance's Right, or Hollow Trees (HTs), Lance's Left on the southern tip of Sipora is still a great wave anywhere in the world. A combination of rippable wall sections and barreling sections, Lance's Left can handle a bit of wind and still be fun. The reef faces straight into the prevailing southwest swell direction, which makes the spot incredibly consistent. With increased swell however, its character becomes a bit surlier and ledging take-offs zones will attract the more skillful. The Left is within walking distance, across a small peninsula, from the Lance's Right side, but most will boat over when the right is too small or winds turn on-shore there.
